My prayers have been answered!

The BiTDI cars have now started to appear on AUK used cars

Ok, only one at the minute, but least they're starting to filter in!

49k used, no depreciation on that at all then! I see the tech spec is wrong, may be its a typo for a 3.0v6 or maybe the spec doesnt let them pick details for the bitdi yet?

Not sure, probably still new for it to use its details .. The 65L tank seems a bit small compared to the 80L in my car now?

I think the 65l tank is right - that's standard on C7's, but the tech spec is a jumble.

Crazy price ! A 6 month old 245ps version with similar spec should fetch about £35k max, from a dealer.

I specced the 75l tank on mine, and I still find it drains quickly even with the 2.0TDi engine! A 65l tank with the BiTurbo 3.0TDi would be empty in a flash! :)

I see the car is due in at Stafford Audi. Might be worth giving them a call to check the specs if you are interested in the car? I can pop down there to take some pics if you need them?

Cheers!

Pics would be nice, but....... video with high-quality sound is what we really want !

I wonder how expensive the tech for this resonator is ? Whether someone will come out with retrofit kits for, say, humble 245ps versions......?

When I change, I will be going for the best that I can for my money which will be a BiTDI but all these problems appearing on new cars are putting me off .. Bump stops, MMI issues, bluetooth/map issues etc.

So if I want a BiTDI I need to buy used, but thats gonna be probably another 6-12 months before the right specced car turns up .. Still thinking whether to go Q5 or not

Q5 BiTDI .. Tempting when it comes http://www.autocar.co.uk/www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/262065/

If it helps... The new A6 is an incredible car! Mine is quieter, smoother, quicker and better equipped than my C6. Personally I would take it every time over a Q5. Don't fret about the bump stops - it just seems to be a PDI prep issue on a few cars. I had my sim in a Nokia today, connected via rSAP, and everything worked flawlessly - even Google Street View (and I have a Vodafone sim). Go for an A6! I'm not biased, honest! :)

I like the C7, always did but it's that hard decision whether to listen to your heart or head :(

I'll see what the next few months bring and keep an eye on this section to see if are any common problems start to arise.

Also the nav, Audi should've kept MMI2G, no problems here with connectivity issues or incorrect voice prompts! ;)

I'll probably end up going with my heart, once you have owned an A6 you cant go anywhere else! :)

The MMI/iPhone/Google Maps issues will not go away in a used vehicle, so I cannot see the advantage of waiting on that score. You just have to decide how much you care about a matter where Audi are treating their best customers like something they have scraped of their shoes, compared to the bulk of the car, which is very good.

To my mind, the more people who are put off by the crap treatment we are getting on the iPhone/MMI the better, and I never cease mentioning it on every social media site I am on - for pilots, magistrates, directors - because I am very p1ssed off by being ignored, treated with contempt and sneered at by Audi. I rather enjoy the thought that I am costing Audi a considerable number of sales. I know for certain that I have stopped two sales, not because those customers particularly wanted to use iPhones, but because of the arrogance of the way Audi UK treats people who pay them an awful lot of money.

Shame, because everything else about the car is really nice. But I won't eat at a restaurant where the waiters sneer at me, however good the food, so I won't recommend a car where the suppliers treat me like a worm, however good it is.

You see thats what I don't want is to have an ongoing problem which isn't being sorted as quick as some would like, if I get a car, I want it ready to go, not having to swap sim cards everytime I get into the car just to use the satnav every morning at ~3am.

A8 posted a update http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?132615-iphone-fix-for-2012-and-data-sim-fix but still it involves taking the sim out everytime which looks like they're going somewhere and thats why I am thinking I should wait until a final solution comes out. I like the car and if its gonna take a few more months for them to sort it out then so beit, as I don't want any other car.

Ok I have a thing for the Q5, but I will always go back to the A6.

I'm sure the C6 had teething problems when it was first released back in 2004 so I guess the C7 is the same.
