Noticed this this afternoon, I'm missing one of the covers on my nsf door

Could someone kindly supply a P/N or let me know where I could get one as I'm sure Audi would charge £££ for the pleasure

See pic compared to the osf

It's the bung that covers the removal screw which holds the door lock/lock-blank in place.

It's more than likely a standard-across-the-range part which I think is 3B0837111B41. I can pop mine out at lunch (fnar!) to be sure though, I have access to an 06 Passat, an 02 A3 and an 03 Ibiza too so I can double-double check the bung is the same.

Thanks Sam,

The diameter of the bung would is 1.5cm so I guess anything with the same diameter would fit so a trip to the scrapyard would be easiest!

Hmm, not sure now.

Just measured mine (fnar!) and the hole is 15mm but the bung is 20mm and the p/n is 3B0837111B41 as per my post above.

With it removed I can see the torx head of the lock retaining bolt.

Can't get into the other cars until lunch though :(

If you pop the bung out from the other door, the p/n should be on the back.

TBH it may have been pushed into the door given your experience with audi thus far Chris :)

I'll have a look and see, should it just lever/pop off?

Ugh, don't remind me! My latest DPF troubles are persuading me ever more to trade 'er in for something else .. Any news on this new A3 being released yet?

I prised mine out with my finger on my old, hated car, but a flathead screwdriver should do it on your new, much loved car

Ok got the screwdriver and tried to prise the drivers side bung off .. Didn't go quite to plan :(

Screwdriver slipped and ended up marking the inside of the door .. **** :(

Gave up after that!
