Wiper blade adapters

So I picked up some wiper blades at what I thought was a pretty good price but as it turns out I cant get them to fit to the car. Even tough the blades came with a good assortment of adapters none of them would fit the wiper arm.

What it is with Audi wiper arms - are they some sort of special fitment or something? Is it possible to pick up the little plastic adapter separately?

Generally are specific to Audi, they were on the b6 and b7

Hmm, not good. The A4 is a good car but it does have some really carp design features - this being one of them.

It is indeed but Audi trying to be clever here so you have to buy from dealer or pay extra for specific wipers

The Audi-specific Bosch blades are only £24 on Amazon - bosch part number is A298S.

Yes, precisely my problem. The blades I got were Goodyear Assurance blades which only cost £10 at Costco - an absolute bargain! Now I'm going to have to pay twice as much for what is probably an inferior product.

Looks like I'll have to go for the Bosch ones - at least they're not too expensive.
