Adjustment of injection quantity....

Can anyone please let me know the procedure using VCDS on how to adjust the injection quantity.

Problem been engine shakeing on idle and been a bit lumpy around the 2000 - 2600 rpm mark.

Cams all good, engine fully seviced, pump timing within spec and I have just reset all the cams and crank to TDC.

Car is a 2.5 tdi v6 AFB, and have owned her for the last 4 years, and its always had this shake on idle.

I have tried to find out how to do this reading the VCDS manual, I have adjusted the idle speed from 740 rpm to 800 and this has made no change, also no faults recorded so I suspect the above problem.

Not sure if it will be the same on your engine code, but i imagine that VCDS is pretty much the same for all engines.

Thanks Rich, using 12233 as the access code doesnt work on my model, Im thinking its the code for a 1.9tdi ect.

Looking at the injection quantity its around 5 - 5.5mg.

Anyone know the access code?

Have a look on the rosstech site. They also have a wiki page. Might find something on one of those.

Had a good look on the wiki site and can not find a access code, 3.0i and 1.9 tdi are covered in depth but the 2.5 tdi AFB and AKE are not, so im stuck for now! thanks Rich for the help so far.
