Sat Nav GPS Faulty

My GPS is faulty and I need to replace it. I have seen the Fakra units supplied on ebay. After I have connected it to the back of my Sat Nav unit where could I place the GPS within close proximity to the unit receiver within the dashboard as I am not confident running the cable to the roof top of the existing position. Thanks

Drop the glovebox and put the hockey puck on top.

Will give it a go.....Is dropping the glove box pretty straight forward i.e no special tool bits

about 6 small bolts or star bits.
