I remember when I wa 16 getting into iron Maiden and buying all they had to offer, at the gigs I remember the vocalist saying we're not in it for the money we love you guys etc.


Well, as an older bloke looking back I think horseshoot to that, everything about Iron Maiden is cash driven, over the years several members have been trashed away, everything they released was on 9 formats knowing the avid fan would buy all.

This is a perfect mug model, proclaim to be the good guy, act like a cvnt and reap the cash...hey man we'd give it away but EMI says no.

Typical liar syndrome that has parasited life today, only it's got worse, do you want your **** to grow 3 inces in a mth, do you want to earn £2000 pw e.mailing ppl, do you want your pc to perform miricles etc etc.


I don't know about you, but life has reached a point where it's morally bankrupt?

Wow, what triggered that! I agree though, the world is screwed because of its obsession with money.

To be honest, I thought it had gotten about as low as it could get a number of years ago in terms of moral bankruptcy, but the decline seems to have continued from there. There are still some people who have morals, and will do things genuinely for the love of it or to help others (this forum being one example), but sadly that is demonstrated to a much lesser degree than it used to be.

Businesses are as morally bankrupt as they ever were, and those in positions of power (government) are no better.

The problem is that in business or politics you have to be morally bankrupt to do really well (not just succeed but do REALLY well) or you just get trampled on. In my business, the motor trade, if you are honest you really struggle and have to work extra hard to survive but there is no way I will succumb to the temptation of craping on people; I could not sleep at night. In politics, it is almost impossible to get anywhere if you don’t have the skin of a Rhino and the morals of a lump of rock as you will just be instantly shafted, I know because I tried and even at local level politics is an evil business.
