Hi, i have a Vw clipper "g reg" 1989. ive had to replace the speedo cable and found that it doesnt work. The connection into the gearbox doent connect to anything that i can see. Is there a common fault with the gearbox and connection to the speedo cable? my worry is that theres something floating around in the gearbox. Can anyone advise? or have any experience?
