leaking injector pipe

Hi All
On my allroad 2.5 tdi I have a leaking injector pipe at the fittment to the injection pump. on tightening it it does not feel like it seals well and it starts leaking again very soon. Can I do anything to make a better seal or do i need to replace the pipe?

if it was me id take the pipe off and have a good look at the flare on the pipe and the fitting, then try refitting it to see if its any better, it could be a bit of dirt on the flair but without looking its guess work mate

Hi PhilI have done that, it all looks fine .With the other injector pipes when I tighten them I can feel them take up the slack and when nearly all the way i can feel the resistance get tighter but with this one it goes from slack to tight in an instant with no feeling of resistance maybe a replacement pipe is requiredVin

I tightened the leaking injector pipe but after a couple of weeks it was leaking again. I replaced it with a second hand pipe which tightened nicely and has not leaked as yet.
