About 3 months ago I fitted the xenon headlights along with a kufatec adaptor(I have not yet passed the cables through into the cabin/central electrics controller yet). They have been working with byte0 changed from 69 to 23 as 29 is not accepted.

I have been liaising with Audi about the new J519 controller that I need as my current one will not accept coding of 29 in byte0. They advised me to purchase a 8K0 907 063K controller which happens to be the same one I currently have fitted in the car so I know for a fact that this doesn't work. They also told me that 8K0 907 063D no longer exists.

The first issue is that it will not accept the coding and also, Pin 9 on
Connector F (T17n) and Pin 3 on Connector E (T17m) are not physically
on the controller so high beams will not work once I cable it all up.

Does anyone have any clues on this and what controller I actually require?

Once I know i can get this working, I will be getting the kufatec set for auto-levelling and searching on ebay for the washers!

Remember that the part number of a controller is generally just the 'hardware' revision of the unit. There'll more than likely be some more digits after the part number on the label - typically three digits known as a 'colour code' (Colour code because it describes the colour of interior trim etc, 01C is black for example) but the colour code is also used on modules for firmware/software levels. Some of the later modules also have a software part number too.

Remember the 'high beams' are really motorised shields.

Fitting washer jets will require a new front bumper cover. ($$$)
