i know some of you will say no get a remap instead
but does this work
i have limited funds and the car is owned by my company
i do a lot of motorway and really want a bit more power when it comes to overtaking and better mpg

I don't see any details of your car. Can you let me know what it is and I can give you details of a tuning box v. a remap for your car.

Not all tuning boxes are bad, and some can be very good. Not as good as a remap, but still very good. Avoid the budget devices unless someone can genuinely vouch for their effectiveness and long-term usage. By the sounds of it you are looking for a cheap solution and, to be frank, a good remap is definitely going to be cheaper for you than a decent tuning box. So go for a cheap tuning box at your peril!

If you get to the bottom of the M25 regularly I can help you out with the remap. The only other reason you may want to consider a good tuning box is if your vehicle has a protected ECU and is under warranty in which case, bearing in mind it is a company vehicle, you might want a non-invasive removable solution.
