Hi there , just joined today so still have to get to grips with the forum. I own a 1997 audi 80 cabriolet 2.6 which i think is a greatly underestimated car, it looks great is loaded with kit and is built like a tank, and best of all they are a real bargain now. The only problem is intermittent electrical faults.

Could anybody help me with an erratic fuel gauge which occationally reads empty even though there is plenty of fuel in tank. just found out last week when you press little button on fuel gauge it works untill next time engine started, handbook says this button is for audi dealers only, is this a calibration button and if so how does it work.

Incidently does anybody know if there is an owners club for these cars
