As some of you may know my car suffered for the second time, faulty intake manifold runners. Car was sent in on the 26th Jan to get these replaced FOC under warranty and my MOT prep done FOC too ;)

Good news is that both things are now sorted, new intake manifold runners and a years ticket!

Would've had the car back on Tuesday but someone in Audi made the mistake of taking the wrong car to the MOT  and a re-test was booked for yesterday and I collected this morning.

I've had a bad couple days with both my cars. See my ongoing problem with my A3 and the condition it was given back to me here:

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I notice that my MMI console has been melted on the area left to the gearstick.

Looks like something hot has been set on it and bubbled the plastic and melted it at the same time.

Not happy with Audi atm :(

wow that is bad luck. Funny tho when our car went in a few months back because i said the heated seats was not as hot as my other cars the drivers window made a noise when i did it up. The receptionist insisted it could not have been them how could that happen. i insisted it was not like that before they had it. Im sure they think you sometimes make things up. What was there reply chris have you heard from them

They aren't open on Sundays but I will be making an appearance tomorrow after work to make a formal complaint.

This is the first time in nearly 3 years the dealer has let me down this badly, hope it's not a sign of things to come :(

Will update both threads tomorrow after I see them.

Oh my oh my oh my! Whatever is going on at your dealer's Chris??? This is horrible! I feel really bad for you - I know you look after your cars and take a lot of pride in them! I really hope they can get this sorted for you with no fuss.

You are having no luck at all just now. Sigh! Keep smiling! :)

MF.

Thanks Mark, things have changed for the good though. Have a look at the other thread, I've wrote more on there :)

They put their hands up to everything that happened and everything's being sorted.

They're replacing the whole central console including the control panel ;)
