In my 18 months of Audi ownership, I've only bought one copy to see what it was like. Although I scan through each new issue on the newsagents shelf to see if there is anything in, to make me want to buy it, but there never is.

Why is it that magazines that cater for other marques actually do contain some helpful and informative articles aimed at the home mechanic
and modifier and yet this one doesn't?

So, who buys it and why? Is it just something to look nice on your coffeee table and make a lifestyle statement, or am I missing the point?

This mag was originally VWAudi Driver, they lost the plot when the magazine split into two separate mags.
Also the modern car designs resulting take your car to the dealer for everything has not helped!
Last week on my A6 I had a headlamp bulb failure on NS, an hour later the OS went.
On checking the handbook I found no instruction on replacement apart from take it to the dealer, come Saturday morning the dealers workshop was closed.
Articles on 'simple' jobs such as the bulb replacement could be helpful.
