Good afternoon all

Couple of questions....

My passenger wing mirror heater doesn't work, the drivers side works fine. Is this going to be a fuse blown or is this a Seperate issue? An could their be something else on the same fuse that could also be not working?

I have a 2006 Audi a3 s line 2.0 quad - under the leather seats of the passenger side their is wiring which looks as though it is connected to the bottom of the seat, is this heating elements? I haven't noticed any controls for heated seats but not sure if it's an automatic thing, however I haven't noticed any heat from these seats since owning the car. An I haven't looked under the driver chair to check if this too has the wiring.

Any help much appreciated :)

Seat wiring is for the airbags in the seat. If you had heating then you'd have the controls on the centre console.

Wing mirror is probaly a failed heating element in the glass, new glass required to fix it. To be 100% certain, take the glass off and check the feed into the woring behind it.

Spot on mate, airbags didn't even enter my head, makes sense now!

As for the wing mirror, I will remove the glass as soon as to check. Is the element attached to the back of the glass? Or Seperate in the wing mirror console?

It's part of the glass.
