Hi Everybody,
New to this forum, also new to VW/audi things.
I acutally drive a MG ZS which has had an extensive amount of work done to it, and it houses a vw 1.8turbo (bam) under the bonnet. with forged rods, bigger valves, k04 hybrid turbo and mbe ecu she pushes around 300bhp. I wasnt the person who did all the hard work but it is a very fast track ready car.
I am in desperate need of a oil filter housing, I undid the turbo oil feed to nip a pipe up and it looks like it has been cross threaded in the past. I tried to clean it up with a tap but I cannot get the purchase to do it tight enough not to leak. given the fact there a messy thing to take off I just want to take it of and replace rather than take it of and take for a time sert or somthing...
the problem is I cannot find a s/h oil filter housing for it.. would anybody know where to search? Looking forward to learning much on here.
