Hi there everyone, just thought I would make my 1st post by introducing myself! I am 22 and I have just bought an Audi A3. I will be picking it up on Saturday. Never had an audi before but if the reliability is anything like my Honda Prelude was then I will have no complaints atall!!

The car isn't going to well :( the power is down and it is really shuddering when idling. I have been told that it could be the flywheel? I really hope it isn't as I haven't got the cash at the moment to afford the repair :(
Others have told me it could be the MAF (which is what I thought it was) but it was hooked upto VAG and the tester said the MAF readings were fine. I changed the fuel filter last week and for a day or so, it ran waaaay better but now it is back to its normal shuddering state.

are you sure its not a mis fire?? could be a coil pack?
