Coolant always 90C -normal?

Just changed from an old '99 Audi A3 to the newer '08 model.

The old a3 would only get to 90C if it was left sitting idle for a long time. It would generally be around 60C.

Now, with the newer A3, it is always at 90C even after being driven on the motorway on a cool day. I'm worried incase this isn't normal.

Any opinions?
