I have noticed on acceleration (generally from stanstill) quite a loud clunk that you can actually feel through the car.
It doesn't seem to make any difference if the wheels are turned or not, or going round corners. It also does it in most gears - prividing it's more brisk acceleration e.g. pulling away at traffic lights, pulling away on roundabouts etc. As opposed to accelerating in 4th or 5th on a motorway.
The only thing that I can think is possibly engine mounts? Or CV joints?
My mechanical knowledge is a bit limited so I'm guessing!
Any advice would be great.
It's a 1.8GL by the way.
