no sound from radio

first post on forum so here goes.Ive got an a3 sportback 1.8tfsi s-line with a standard concert radio/cd,a couple of days ago the sound went while listening to the radio, the cd player works normally though,ive checked the fuse which is ok,any ideas:1zhelp:

just an update,took the car to Southampton Audi who said they would take a look free of charge even though it was just out of warranty (a bit of arm bending helped).The radio was taken out put straight back in and works fine,there were no fault code errors found. They said they haven't seen this problem before

So when you switched to cd you got sound through your speakers, sounds like it got itself all confused, were you switching from cd to radio at the time it went?

I was listening to the radio when the sound went (hands no where near it) so tried the cd which worked fine,though only had the wifes cds in the car at the time which were painful to listen to
