Hi all, first post so please be gentle.

Just wondering if anyone has looked into or purchased an extended warranty. I have done on my bmw motorbike through BM and its been worth its weight in gold.

Thanks

Yes, I have and will be doing again come renewal in Jan 2012.

Because my car is quattro, the price is ~£700 for the year and I dont pay any ££ towards diagnostics or labour, parts etc and all is followed up by a nice courtesy car.

Its already paid for itself and saving me £3k out of my own pocket and totally worth the price.

That is Audis own extended warranty (max of 10 years old and 100k miles)

No problem,

This is the Audi Warranty site here - https://www.audiextendedwarranty.co.uk/Audi/Static.mvc.aspx/Content?title=Home&name=Home

IIRC, if you dont have a renewal form, you would need to speak to them on the phone like I did.

Let me know if you have any more questions, and my warranty doesnt have a yearly mileage cap either and mine is the Comprehensive cover.

just quoted over £900 on warranty direct which feels a bit much so will see how I get on with Audi

cheers Chris. What part of Northern Ireland you from, all my mums family are from over there and coming over next year for northwest 200

You never mentioned what engine you have, but that seems a bit steep considering my 3.0TDi is ~£700/pa

I actually live up that direction, about 15-20 mins away. NW200 is always a good day out and the practices during the week are good too but it all depends on the weather!

If you're bringing the car, give me a shout and I can enable some features on VCDS if you wish! :)
