Puddle in passenger rear footwell

Does anybody have any suggestions as to the cause of a puddle in the rear footwell on the passenger side of my 2001 golf estate. Ive checked the drain holes on the doors, doorseals seem ok no rips or tears. Couldnt get the rear doors open last night as they were frozen to the seals. Any suggestions anybody.

take a look at the cab filter cover, under bonnet, right hand side, theres 3 or 4 screws holding it

Just there and everywhere else is dry? if thats the case i would still be looking at the nsr door seals or wiring grommets etc

no not really, ive done a few up to now, somehow the water finds its way there, and after i had my air con system serviced and topped up by the dealer, (i myself had this problem) they hadnt replaced the cover properly, its a 2 min job to do, so take it off and while your there, you might as well change the cab filter!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a puddle in my rear footwell turned out the sunroof drain hose had come off. i just put it back on cable tied it in place and it sorted it, hope this helps
