Lead time on new Passat? Is this correct?

Good afternoon

Hope someone can help. Been reading a thread about lead times on here.
I order my new company lease car on the 3rd June this year. A Passat S 2.0 Bluemotion diesel in Mocca Anthracite, no extras apart from RNS 315 Sat nav and bluetooth.

I have been chasing work for a answer with ref to delivery as the current car I have goes back in January. I have been told today that Activa are quoting delivery of week 12 next year. Can this be right? This will mean a 9 month lead time.

Our company policy is VW either passat or golf so got no option but to lump it but the quoted time does seem very excessive.

I ordered my Passat Sport 140 TDI BM with parking sensors at the end of June 2011 for a week 35 build and took delivery on 13 September. It has RNS315 with bluetooth also.

I would check with an independant dealer to get the latest.

I ordered my latest passat estate 1st August, it arrived 20th October.
Its the new 2.0 diesel and touch screen510 they are meant to be a bit longer on delivery.
So i would say the order had not gone in.

Just cancelled mine was quoted 6 months for 2.0 tdi was 3 months into wait but now dumped it for 2012 3 series 3 month lead time.

The problem is DAB parts from Japan ( tsunami etc ), some models worse than others. I was quoted a lead time of 20 weeks for a Pasatt Sport 140, had to order it as is a co car, them just phoned the dealer and said I would take the first cancelled order, colour didn't matter. I got a night blue in 4 weeks! Arrives Friday

Just had the email from work to say it will be delivered next week. Cant wait.

Only thing is I am a bit confused on the colour. I ordered Mocca Anthracite but now when I go on the VW website its no longer a colour but there is a dark brown. When did the change take place and will I get Mocca Athracite or dark brown?

I ordered a 2.0TDI SE manual Estate yesterday and the dealer confimed from VW build week 8 (mid Feb) for delivery mid March. I've spec'd Night Blue, Electric folding mirrors, parking sensors (front & rear), RCD-510, heated seats and rear side blinds.

140CR DSG Sport Estate with radar cruise in Night Blue ordered mid Sept 2011 arrived late Dec 2011 - dealer was at first saying Feb 2012 then March 2012 but surprised me with an Xmas pressie with less than a weeks notice.
