Rear Parking Sensors

Hi all looking for some advice.

Will be picking up 59 plate s-line in the next couple of days was thinking of getting rear sensors fitted??? Couple of questions.

I have seen some kits that are already colour coded not sure of the match, don't fancy fitting myself and willing to pay a fair price for a decent job anyone know anyone who/company who do this in the Fife area. How reliable are they ie work this month then pack in next. Does fitting the kit effect anything in the vehicle as I realise there is a connection to the reversing lights and new wiring maybe required. I read some are fitted without bumper removal not sure I want anyone messing with my new car??? Unless essential

Fit Front sensors as Well!! Them pointy bits on the bumper at the bottom jutt out quite far and are damned easy to catch on things! After two weeks I regreted not speccing the complete package by aquiring a nice deep gouge!

the normal retrofit kit is a cobra kit available on ebay for about £55 - you then spray the sensors. On the latest kits the sensors are almost flat. I fitted them to my car and my mothers passat.

I would recommend removing the bumper - if you search for bumper removal i wrote up how to do this a couple of years ago. It isnt that difficult and the drilling points are marked on the inside of the bumper together with hoops to put the wires in.

You then just wire the kit to the reversing light.

I already have the rear sensors factory fitted. My German is non-existant, do I read that page correctly, that the front sensor kit is only €39, is that all that's required other than spraying to match and fitting?
