H.I.D Kit help

I have just fitted a 6000k hid kit to 06 passat sport, when they dipped beams are on and i switch on the full beam the hids go out? am i right in assuming they kit would need to be CANBUS compatible ? any help on this would be great :biglaugh:

Yes, you are right you will need the Can bus free error kit, otherwise you will get errors, and flickering H.I.D. Where did you get these HID kit from? Also they will have to be projector hid kit.

You may have already damaged the central electrics control unit. If you are not careful you will blow the wiper motor controller. You need to be careful fitting any "extra" electrics to a can-bus car.
