Hello,

I am loving the look of the newer Audi's with drl built into the headlights. I was wondering whether it is possible to convert my existing headlights to incorporate drl's. I see that there are complete units for around £300 but there are diy strips for around £25. Has anyone tried to fit these led strips inside their headlights? If so is there a guide for doing this please? I have heard a few stories about removing the headlight and placing in an oven on low temp to allow you to remove the lens but that to me seams a bit dodgy. Does anyone have any ideas if this conversion can be done on the cheap please?

We have an A4 with DRL but not the fancy new ones, and we have Xenon plus headlights so i never bother looking into them. The thing is too is the newer LED DRL are coming out on some of the audis making the current ones old hat.
