Ambient tempreture sensor.

2002 Audi A4 B6 Tdi 1.9.

Hi, have located ambient temperature sensor and want to change as not very accurate. What i can't figure out is how to get the wires off the end of the sensor ! Do they unplug or do you have to change with a new sensor and wires intact ?
Does anyone know where a replacement can be found.

I take it you mean the one in front of the radiator? if so i think it should just unplug like any other wiring connection, there will be a little clip you have to press and then just pull.

yes its the one in front of the radiator, will give it a try and try and source a new one,thanks again.

Is this an easy fix? was going to look at doing the same, mine seems to be far wrong.

Seems to be an easy fix but at the moment it is functioning correctly for some reason ! Will keep an eye on it.
