sorry bout this but new to this game.

Got an audi a3 with aerial integral with heated rear windscreen and radio has poor reception

Been told by car electrician it could simply be a poor connection at the heating element connector

anyone had the same problem and can I repair it myself:1zhelp:

It could also be a poor connection at the rear of the radio.

Any signs that the radio has been removed in the past?

The electrician said that if i turned on the heated rear window when the radio was on and the radio lost its signal then it was almost certainly the heated rear window problem.

Thing is I dont really want to go taking the inside rear hatch panels off searching for the heating element connection unless its an easy job so i'm really hping someone else has had the same problem

Ive got an A4 with an integral aeiral which to loses signal when heated rear window is on. Have you figured out the problem yet or a solution kee kee
