Morning all,

Just taken delivery of my 09 A4 in Phatom Black. Gave it a wash at the weekend and after getting to work today I've noticed some scuff marks on the wheel arch and one on the rear passenger door. They're far from massive but it looks like something/someone has rubbed against the car or tried to polish something out. When you take a step back they're quite obvious and you can notice the scuff marks.

Personally I find this really annoying. Anyone know what product or what service I can use to fix this? I'm wary of doing anything myself that could make it worse but want a solution that will make the marks go away.

Any ideas please?

Autoglym Super Resin Polish contains fillers which will help to mask the swirl marks - worth applying something on top such as Autoglym Extra Gloss protection (both widely available) or Colinite Wax to add durability as Super Resin will normally last 4-6 weeks if not sealed.

For a more permanent fix, worth finding a good Detailer on www.DetailingWorld or alternatively as a cheaper option, find a credible Detailing World fanatic nearby willing to safely tackle the marks with a machine polisher for some beer money.

I bought a DAS Dual Action Polisher with Sonus Pads and Menzerna Polish specifically for this purpose. So far I have not had to use on the Audi (good wash technique has helped) however the wife's car and Toy in the garage have!
