Recommended parts for 2003 2.5 V6 Quattro.

Just wondering what type of oil, filter, wipers, tyres, discs and pads would be recommended for my 2003 A4.

Not had a diesel or an Audi before so any advice, comments, Do's and don'ts, horror stories and good experiences would be appreciated.

I'm having a full set of Hankook's fit next Saturday. Got them at £80 a corner fitted so it's a good start!!!!

Hi, i would recommend the Quantum brand of oil, it's probably what oil an Audi dealer would use, if you have a local TPS centre they can probably help you, i am not 100% sure on the oil spec for your car 505 01 or 507 01 or something similar, but it will be either the longlife 111 oil or the platinum which is for the diesel particulate filter engines. Go for genuine filters, also genuine pads and discs, they are not as dear as you would think especially if fitted yourself.

wipers, also try TPS, either the Aero ones if they were standard fit to yours or Bosch ones.

Tyres, Falken FK452 for good priced tyre, Vredestein ultra sessanta get some good reviews, most popular makes are good, check out Black circles for reviews.
