Heated seats

Hi all

Does anyone know if this is just my car or has something change. On my older A6 le-mans and my even older A6 04plate my heated seats would get nice and hot to the stage where i would have to turn them down because they got to hot for me. But on my new car they don't seem to get no-way near as hot even if i leave them on 6. Does anyone else have this or is this just me

Just you I think. My old C5 A6 was too hot to tolerate on 5 let alone 6, and so is the new(er) one.

Mine gets hot very quickly and 6 is too high for me.

I wish there was a setting number 7! I obviously have the the hide of a rhino.

Mine are roasting on number 6 and heat up pretty swiftly too.

Unrelated but I found that the heated seats on the A4 and particularly the Q5 were not as warm on 6 as my car :confused:

well i have booked it in for saturday as i don't think they are right and they are a long way off what my other audi's was. Thanks for all the reply

Well had the car into audi last week and they comfirmed that audi have lowered the temperature on the heated seats on all there cars through out the whole range but was unable to tell me why this had been done, and even audi uk technical never knew why it had been lowered

There have been cases of the elements burning through the seats on some older cars, could this be the reason ?

Can the max heat settings be changed using VCDS?

I sometimes get the feeling that the seat max temp is linked to the air con/outside temp. Sometimes the seat is burn your *** hot, others it is just warm. I always choose 6 as the setting.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Audi have reduced the temperature on all there heated seats, gods know why and they said it was early this year on all the models through out the whole range. It is now like being on my 57 plate setting number 4
