replaced 1 of my wiper arms today as black paint had flaked off. even with the tool that pulls it off how difficult are they to remove. after much swearing all removed and replaced and now looks smart. And no need to worry about it falling off as no chance.

i have always found them very easy to remove.
i undo the nut so it is flush with the bolt then tap it with a hammer while pulling up on the base of the wiper arm and they pop straight off.
