Hi All - any ideas welcome...

B5.5 130 Highline 2005

It is now getting close to winter in the UK and I have been trying to sort the following problem:

No heat is available when temperature demand is raised. Unless ECON is selected the AC is always blowing cold air.

Climatronic is functional and self test diagnostic shows a problem with the Servos:
25b Defrost Servo
4F7 Temperature Servo
4FA Recirc Servo
513 Gateway

I have removed the Red servo for temperature control and adjusted the flap and now have warm air. I have opened the servo and tested the motor with 12 volts and it is functional and gearing is free.

Could there be a problem with the Climatronic or fuses to the Servos? Does anyone have an electrical schematic that I can use to check voltage to the servo.

I have included photos of the open solenoid. Looks like possibly a feedback rheostat potentiometer on top 3 pins and 12 volt supply/return to motor on bottom 2.

I have also removed the Climatronic and cleaned what looks like what could be the cabin temperature sensor with switch cleaner and checked the CCM module under the passenger carpet and it is clean & dry.

Any other ideas gratefully received...

Many Thanks for that, however, as I am just a grunt with under 10 posts, it appears that I am not able to PM you :p
