Hi. Just recently with pants weather coming, noticed auto wipers and headlights kinda do what they feel like. Wipers wipe when there is no rain and lights sometimes don't come on when it's getting dark. All works well when the moon is out but can be awkward when raining, and in poor weather. Noticed that glass inside sensor bit looks a bit misted. Need to compare with another. But is there a way of adjusting sensitivity of sensors. I know about the adjustment on the stalk for the wipers but that makes them work constantly or nearly constAnt ( if you get why I mean!)

Thanks lads!

the only suggestion i say is remove the sensor, clean the glass and make sure the gel on the sensor is clean, you say the glass looks misted, could be that your sensor is comming loose as it should look clear is with a diamond like faint pattern

I'll give that a go at weekend. Would glass cleaner be ok to clean sensor?

the sensor might not need cleaning, but i cant see a problem giving it a clean with glass cleaner but the sensor is slightly sticky so might not clean up well

My auto headlights are on quite often even during the day with fairly good whether.

You can adjust the sensitivity (of the light sensor at least), with VCDS.

I was thinking about that but have no idea where to look?
Which module is it?

You go into central electrics, then at the top there is a drop down where you select the RLS submodule (rain/licht sensor or something) - go into that and it's in the coding, i think.

I suppose I need the full version of VCDS for this?

I mean the "lite" version wouldn't be able to change parameters.
