I am thinking of downsizing, and fancy a Golf.

Question is, I have an identical set of alloys for my car (2007 SE), will these fit a Golf V or Golf Plus?

I found this website http://www.carlsalter.com/wheel_fitments.html.

It says the PCD is the same, but the offset is different, but the offset isn't a fixed value, it's a range, meaning it could fit?

Confused!

Really depends on the difference and if the inner edge of the wheel will foul anything like suspension or brakes. The opposite is also an issue and that is fouling the wheelarch or wheelarch liner on suspension compression. It might fit ok and be ok to drive normally but under hard braking or cornering it coud porntially touch something. If you can try before you decide on what to do that would be best.

They'll fit straight on. The offset differences won't be massive, and with a fairly standard tyre you'll have plenty of room round them in the arch.
