Hi all,
I have a very strange problem on my 2001 Golf Mark IV. The remote will open the doors no problem but I can't close the doors with the remote and have to do it manually via the keylock. The car had the boot lock mechanism replaced a couple of months ago, it has worked intermittantly since the work was done but has now stopped completely. I have tried to re-sync the remote (i think i have done this properly) but still no joy.
We did take it back to a VW dealer who have told us they think its the Convinience Control Module (expensive!), but reading the forums im not so sure as everthing else on the car works fine.
Can anyone help?
