Hi all,

My wifie's little motor has a punctured tyre & I'm just wondering if the foam that these cheap penny pinching manufacturers put in instead of a wheel/space saver is any good? Will I still be able to repair the puncture if I've used this foam? Or is it best to try & inflate the tyre temporarily & limp to the garage for a proper repair?

If you can get away with not using it then you will save some cash by not having to pay the garage for removing the tyre and cleaning up the residue before repairing. Foam is only a short term solution anyway.

Brilliant, thanks Bratty. I'm glad I held off then, I'll just go get a foot pump & inflate it enough to reach the garage. At least then I'll always have a footpump if I need it in future.
