After 2 years of working perfectly, The Blackberry has stopped connecting automatically when you get in the car. I have deleted the pairing on both Phone and Car then re paired and it connects ok but when you turn the ignition off the phone bluetooth light starts to flash as though it is seeing the car but does not connect. I have also deleted the call logs in the phone that can be an issue with the phone book. The 2 will connect if I do it in manual from the phone. Any ideas anyone ?
Its a 2009 car with phone prep low and 3g satnav

I use a Blackberry with the A4 as well. Deleting the call logs is a good idea, shows you have been doing all your research as to the problem. As I'll probably not pull anything else up that will help you here, I'll just add... have you tried to remove your battery from the Blackberry, wait a little while and then replace it? I genuinely don't want to be too obvious, I'm suspecting you've already tried it, but I have found that the Blackberry is still one of those few devices where the easiest and only route to getting things working that - miraculously - suddenly appear to have stopped working, is a very simple hard reboot of the thing.

I remember my setup not connecting once (probably about 18 months ago) and I am thinking it was a Blackberry battery removal that got me back to situation normal.
