Just a quick oneon average how much engine oil is used every 10k approx on the 3.0 tdi

.50 to .70 litres per 1000 miles roughly

none at all between services on my 3.0 tdi manual

I've not had to top up the oil in my A6 Avant 3.0 tdi auto since its last service 27,000 miles and 29 months ago although the dipstick is showing almost at min. Service indicator now saying service due in 700 miles.

Mine was serviced 10,000mls ago and the dipstick is showing a couple of millimetres under full, so it's using not much at all, next to nothing I would say :)

I just had my car serviced by Audi so cant comment on the oil but I will keep an eye over the next 2000 miles.

Before this service, it used hardly any and didnt have to topup. Infact, I havent had to topup in the 2.5 years I have had the car and the 30k Ive done.
