Bluetooth Telephone System

[Audi-A4VJ]

I have an Audi A4 2008 model with the MMI interface installed.
It has all the functions for an Audi Bluetooth System to be installed (phone button, talk button on steering wheel etc) but I dont actually have it installed.

Is there any way I can get this activated in a simple way by updating software etc or does it need to be retrofitted by someone?

Needs to be fitted. You can't just activate it sadly.

Wish it was a simple activation. If you're looking at retrofit, Kufatec is the official Audi one I believe, but there is also Viseeo which has had good write ups on the forum, or if you want one that adds a few more toys, the Dension Gateway 500 with BTA 1500 will do the Bluetooth phone through MMI and will also allow you to run your ipod tunes through MMI.
