Hi all, I drive 57plate a6 2.0d 140 multitronic taxi. on my last run on sat night car lost power for a few miles then when i stopped at a junction coil on dash started flashing and car could hardly pull away. I pressume car gone into limp home mode now as it struggled up a hill in first. Dropped passengers off then turned engine off and restarted to see if it would reset fault but to no avail. Drove off in limp home mode but got about 100 yards then engine stalled and wouldn't restart. Earlier in the afternoon particle filter warning light came on a couple of times but went out after a few miles. Rang recovery who came and plugged diagnostic computer in which came up with a fault for turbo pressure. He reset fault but car still would not start. Anybody have any idea what problem might be. Forgot to say fuel consumption been really bad lately at about 32mpg on local roads and 36 on long motorway runs.
