How can i tell if my A3 has the onboard computer?

The screen in between the rev counter and speedo is blank, it has cruise control fitted but can't believe that the onboard computer would not be fitted.

I understand there are different types of dashboards how can i tell which i have?

I don't know what year/model A3 you have but at a guess if you have the buttons on the wiper stalk then you have the on-board computer.

*shrugs* I'd believe it - my A3 has cruise control but not the DIS - depending on year, almost everything on an Audi can be a cost option :p

The official way to tell would be to look in your manual - the front page has a sticker of codes which list the exact specification of your car. Google reveals several sites that can translate them for you. The quicker way is to see if you have the buttons on the stalk to control it!
