Blue tooth connection lost?

Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help me. I paired my iphone 4 with my Audi A4 avant over a year ago. It worked perfectly up until a couple of days ago. My phone now cant find the car. Can the blue tooth connection be disabled on the car? I cant understand why it's suddenly lost connection and wonder if anyone can tell me what I may have inadvertently done to cause this ??

I've not got a answer I'm afraid, but just want to add that mine did something similar last night. The car display didn't show a connection ( signal bars) and when I pressed the phone button, it said that the phone function wasn't available, but my phone was connected, and I made a call no problem. My contacts were all available too. This happened on both mine and my wife's phone. No idea what's going on.

Sounds like its lost its code , after changing my faulty Bluetooth unit the new unit wasn't coded but it would connect and make calls , recorded it and it works perfect .
