just been told by a dealer my car drop £1100 this month in value is this correct or are they having a laugh

Well cars do lose money so they're probably near on the ball.

i bet they havent dropped the price on the forecourts.... Probably due to all that dollar rubbish.

might do as the new reg is out next month, so everything else drops quicker just before.......... sounds reasonable, but then of course he will say this, he want to get you to buy a new one!

We don't have the same style plates as the mainland, so September and March doesn't effect the prices really.

Dealers always give rubbish quotes, just out of interest I wondered how much I would gain in part ex for my A6 and there was a gap of £3000 between several different dealers.
