Illuminated Hazrd light switch

Hi Guys,

Jus noticed that the hazard light switch on the car stays illuminated constantly when the car is running, didnt do this before, I have an aftermarket headunit in the car but thats been in there for years... any ideas what could be causing this

Hi,

In all the Audi's I've owned, the hazard button illuminates as soon as you un-alarm the car and stays on until you get out and set the alarm again.

Basically; whenever there is a possibility there could be somebody in the car, the hazard light remains illuminated in case it needs to be pressed in an emergency. You'll notice that the same applies to the headlight switchgear.

Are you 100% certain it never used to illuminate before?
