Hi please be gentle with me as a I'm a newbie here, I have been offered a A4 1.8 T Quattro, with 120K on the clock is there any thing I need to be aware of? dont know the reliablity the 1.8T engine. :Blush:

these engines are infamous for oil sludging which can lead to a blocked pickup pipe which means your engine could be starved of oil at the very least you need to see solid proof of regular fully synthetic oil changes

Agreed try to find one not on longlife.We found one a few days ago but did not go and view cos it had gone over 32k since its last service although it was said to have full Audi sh
