Hi,

On my 2010 A4 i have enabled the laptimer (using VCDS) and when selected on the display, you get the oil temp at the top as well. A useful piece of info if your driving hard, or just curious what it is.
Now, recently i applied some VCDS tweeks to a fellow forum members A6 2.0 TDI, enabling rear LED lights, visual parking display etc, and also enabled the needle sweep and laptimer.
Now, instead of displaying the oil temp at the top of the screen, the A6 displayed the turbo boost pressure! cool. :approve:

Has anyone managed to get this to display on an A4 tdi, or know where i can find an option in VCDS? Im asuming the engine management system has this info to hand, and both the A6 and the A4 use the same 2ltr TDI engine (170) as far as i know.

Thanks,

Paul

MF on here enabled the boost gauge (I think) search for mfgf and you'll see it in his signature. A pure guess but when you went to the oil temperature does the rocker switch do anything on the wiper stalk?

The rocker switch on the stalk controls the lap timer. (start, new lap, split time, pause etc). I've had a good poke about in the instument module in VCDS, but cant see anythign obvious.

Interesting, you should try PM'ing MF here (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=103672). It doesn't say on his signature but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned before.

Sorry I couldnt really help! :)
