1996 c4 a6 avant v6 dash lights and air blower problem

Strange one this. Firstly most of the daytime running lights are not working on the dash. The only light that does work is the computer. Secondly when you put the headlights on the nightime running lights do not come on but the heater/air con blower drops down to a slow speed. Totally wierd. Not a problem at the moment as the days are long but will become a problem during the winter.

For information all exterior lights work fine and the aircon/climate control/air blower works fine when the lights are not on. :confused:

After four and a half years I do have the same problem with my beloved A6 c4 2.5 TDI quatro
