Hi guys,
since I am an member here now, I would like to recommend my Garage "German Motor Mechanics" in Harrow. I am recommending this Garage, as they are German trained and very reliable chaps and know, what they are doin. I was a constant Dealership customer, sice I hads a problem with my Audi A8 2005 last Year in March. I consulted the Audi Dealership and I was told, that Engine Control Unit needs replacing, which was approx. £1200 plus Labour etc. Fortunately one of my friend advised me to give it a try with German Motor Mechanics, as he was using thir Mobile repair services.
I consulted the recommended Garage and explain them my situation and Audi diagnosis. After they recovered my vehicle from Audi Dealership, I was contaced 1 day after and was told, that a 30AMP fuse is blown, which is causing the malfunction.
Compare to the Audi costs who quoted me £1760 including VAT my car was repaired for £85 (including diagnosis and labour).
Since then I have been using them and save every time Money compare to my previous repairs and know, that my car is in good hands...

I am recommending this Garage because for me the HONESTY counts, as they could make my bill raise up to £1000 and I would have no clue, but you see there are still GODD/HONEST and RELIABLE Garages.

Use them and recommend them..

I'm confused, you're saying an Audi Dealership didn't check a fuse?

Do you have the name of the Dealership in question?

Yes mate, I am under the impression, that they have plugged their diagnosis Machine and could not access the ECU due to the blown fuse and forthis reason I was told to replace the ECU (I was told this by the named Garage) Yes I know which dealership I am talking about, but exposing the name is not in my nature, as may there are other customers using them.

If I knew the name of the Dealership I could invite them to leave their comments so that we have both sides to the story.

If there's shoddy workmanship in progress, surely you'd want other customers to be aware?
