If you mean by the led modules that go in the interior light unit than yes there is a simple plug n play module and you just need to drill the blanking plates for the led bulbs out, a simple mod- 20 mins max

This is for the A4 but may well work in the A6 too- http://capav.com/Audi/Ambient_LED/Audi%20Interior%20Ambient%20Lighting%20Compatibili ty.pdf

Which LEDs do you mean? The LED interior lights?

Or the LEDs in the footwell in the front and LEDs under the front seats for the rear?

Jim asked a similar question donkeys ago and included some pictures in this thread. (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?68951-Definitive-how-to-for-Led-s-interior-exterior) You should PM him cos hes done alot of lighting retrofits such as LEDs :)

Ok looking to find out which led's fit into the front footwell to replace the existing bulbs and the red led light mod where the map lights are located. I believe audi do a loom inc the led's?
Thanks for searching

Just edited my post there so refresh your page. Not sure about the footwell LEDs but they came standard on my car becasue its a Le Mans. I could try popping the cover off and seeing if theres anything interesting below ie, any numbers etc.

I have the red LEDs you're talking about but I assume they were standard fit on my car too. I'll pop the cover off aswell to see if theres anything in there aswell.

Thanks for that. If I got the part number of the loom /led's I'd order them from Audi. I think they really look cool at night
The foot well lights take 5w5 bulb which translates to a T10 Led which are easy enough to find.

Does anyone know how to remove the interior light trim where the map reading lights are located?

Thanks

That's the one! I don't suppose you have the part number for the black aperture?

Cheers

Unfortunately not. A call to a Audi dealer will get you the correct number though.
Just ordered up a set since I miss the ambient lighting which I used to have in my BMW E39

...now to find a first aid kit which will fit somewhere since I don't have any location for it!

They should have had the ambient lighting on all the A6 models.
I wonder what size hole is needed to be drilled in the trim got the diodes? What size is in the original trim anyone?

I got the led's fitted and drilled the trim. Worked out pretty well but I'd still like to change the trim to an original one with the holes already there.
So can anyone tell me the part number for the trim with the holes in it that does not have a sunroof and id black in colour (S Line). I found the part number for the cream coloured one but not the black one. Anyone?
