Newb A4 Avant TDi Double Exhaust Advice

Hello All

looking for some help and guidance on the reason behind different exhaust configs on Audi A4 diesel Avants.

Am interested in a Dec 2007 A4 Avant S-line 2.0 Tdi (140ps), which has an exhaust on either side. However, most of the others that I've seen have a twin, single side arrangement. What's the reason for the difference and should I be concerned.
